C3 Church

Since we are a church family, and this site is bringing us together in a fresh way, I think it would be nice to create a place where we can share prayer requests with each other. So... if you would like to, you can post your requests here.

And if it is set upon your heart to pray for a request you see here, then let that person know you are praying for him or her. Prayer is powerful!

I love our church family!

Hey C3 family,

I work at a childcare center in Duluth called Bright Horizons. I work with the toddlers who are 16-24 months old. I love my job, and the company I work for is amazing. But, our daycare is struggling right now. The management has recently changed (for the better I think, but we're in that difficult transition time). And the attendance at the center is really low. We've been told if we lose 4 more kids our center will be in a lot of trouble. I don't know what that exactly means, but it doesn't sound good! My hours have been cut for a couple of weeks and I've been told that my hours will continue to be cut all throughout June and maybe longer.

Please pray for my center. Pray that families will be directed to our center and enroll! Pray that all of us teachers would be taken care of financially during this difficult time. Pray for the restoration of confidence and morale of the staff.

I've got bills to pay, and several of the items on my "dream sheet" require some $$.. so I am trusting God to supernaturally provide the resources that I need. He is a big God, so I am not despairing, but will admit I am feeling pretty stressed.

Thanks!!!

Thank you Gabbie. Those are powerful words and I appreciate them and receive them. I am weary and must seek the power of God. I will keep your daycare in my prayers too. God will provide for both of us! Keep believing.

My mother, Beth, and her roommate, Judy, desperately need some prayer. Judy's mother, whom she took care of the past 2 or 3 years, passed away recently and now Judy needs to find a job. They are on the verge of losing their house because they just don't have enough money coming in. They have a church family that is helping them out some, but they can only do so much. Please pray that Judy will find a good job soon. Thank you all so much.

Hi friends.

Update from my last prayer request: I talked to my manager at the daycare, and let them know I can not afford to have my hours cut for a whole other month.. so they are working to try to get me more hours.

And a slightly new request: I have gone over my dream sheet (that we made at the women's conference) and I have decided to pray for a certain amount of money to help me reach those dreams. It's a pretty large chunk of money. I have no idea where that money will come from, but God is a big God, so I figure, why not ask and trust? So.. I am. Please help me pray for my financial blessing!!! My dreams are important to me, and I know reaching them will glorify God. Thanks, church!

Everyone, please pray for Kasey and Travis and their families. Baby Nolan is in the hospital again and is in pretty critical condition. He needs all the love and prayers we can send his way!!!!

Hi C3 family! Let's lift up our kids and young adults in prayer today and tomorrow as many of them begin their first day of school. Let's pray that they would be filled with joy and peace as they walk into their new classrooms and that God would divinely place them in the best places to reach people for Christ and begin to shape them this year into people that God can use to further His Kingdom -- even in the youngest students! Let's pray that any political decisions or legal decisions or educational decisions that are made by adults anywhere in the school system this year would benefit these students for the better. Let's pray that we as their C3 family would be given the ability, opportunity and willingness to support these children and young adults in whatever ways God asks us to. Let's pray for the minds and hearts of the students, that as they draw near to God the devil would flee far away so that each child/young adult would be able to thrive in confidence and courage and strength. May their minds be protected in their growth and development being rich in knowledge and understanding and their hearts would be rich in the love of Christ and know His Word and His embrace that means everything in this world that can be frightening, hard, and unkind. Let these students rise above the world because they are reflecting Christ Himself, and the knowledge they gain will be the key to open doors to their dreams and goals and pursuits.

We are with you students!!!! Have fun tomorrow and remember you have God with you wherever you go, so be strong and courageous and remember the words God has already given you. The summer has refreshed you and relaxed you, and now you've got so much energy to run on this week. Have a blast using your new school supplies and wearing your new clothes and meeting new friends. Don't let ANYONE AROUND YOU discourage you or make you feel less than the beautiful creations that you are! Focus on your dreams and your loving God and everything will be okay, because God is MORE than enough for you. We are all proud of you for what you are pursuing and accomplishing this year. We love you all, kids and young adults!!!!!!!!

I want to offer up a special prayer for the friends, family, working buds, etc. that we all have in our lives that do not know Jesus as their savior.
