Comment by Barbara Damren on July 4, 2010 at 7:41pm: We meet most Wednesday nights to work on our quilting or shawl projects. We presented 2 quilts in the last week. One was sent to Ohio and the other went to New York. Hope to be getting additional members soon as some other ladies have expressed interest. We are making it happen, touching people's lives!

Comment by Barbara Damren on June 2, 2010 at 10:45pm: We prayed for and presented the baby quilt for Carla's new baby to Sandy at Pat Spell's last ladies' brunch. Linda and I met tonight to work on our latest quilting projects. Linda is finishing up another baby quilt for her friend and has another ready to be presented to a recent widow friend. We are hoping that Chris will get to join us again after she finishes her latest college course.

Comment by Barbara Damren on May 7, 2010 at 12:02pm: We have been very busy lately. Linda made a lovely blue quilt which we presented to the Cole family in memory of to their son Matt. We also gave prayer shawls to Meg Telligman and Pat Ellis for her Aunt Joyce. Another prayer shawl was given to Nyda to give to Donna Jacobs. We are currently working new shawls and a baby quilt for Sandy Markham's friend Carla.

Comment by Barbara Damren on March 22, 2010 at 3:42pm: Linda, Chris and I met on Wednesday and worked on our current projects. We have been asked to bring samples of our work to Prime this week and discuss our group. Christine and Linda both have a calling to teach sewing and quilting skills. These gifts should be used to expand the reach of the prayer quilting ministry to other people. The harvest is ripe for harvest, but the laborers are few right now. We are excited to see how God will use our individual gifts to come together to bless and encourage others. Together we can make a difference with intercessory prayer and show God's love in a tangible way to God's people.
