About

We are a church planting movement and Beyond works hand in hand with our vision for church growth. Through a number of ministries in C3 Church, Beyond takes us outside of the church walls and into our community to heal, restore dignity and empower lives. We aim to have a long term impact/relationship with the people we help. We seek to empower those we help with not just a hand out but a hand up. As we ‘lift up our eyes’ we will fulfill the call of God for His church together!

What you can do - How to get involved

Beyond surges forward into a brand new year with new projects being launched every month and existing projects displaying strong growth and positive results. There are numerous ways in which you can get involved or give to Beyond.

Through financial support. Consider what you can contribute, even small amounts can go a long way towards making a difference. Donations can be made via the ONLINE GIVING section of our website or by giving in our monthly Beyond offering that is taken up on the third Sunday of every month.

Through time and resources. Take a look at the current projects that are taking place and see how you can contribute, whether its donating pajamas for the Jammie Drive or donating some time for a remodel.

Pray - for the initiatives that have been identified in this report. Consider what you can do in our community to make a difference.

Mercy Ministries

In 2009 we became Ministry Partners with Mercy Ministries. Over the last year we have taken a number of women to their Nashville home to visit with the residents and to hear our very own Ps Jill share a message of Hope with the girls and their staff. We've taken up a number of offerings over the year and now support Mercy as a 'Treasure Builder' on a monthly basis so they can continue the great work they are doing.

For over 25 years, Mercy Ministries has provided hope and healing to countless numbers of desperate young women who are seeking freedom from life-controlling problems such as: alcohol and drug addictions, depression, eating disorders, physical and sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancy and self-harm

Mercy Ministries operate a unique Christian residential facilities free of charge. Their program is designed to address the whole person: spiritual, physical and emotional with facilities located throughout the nation that adhere to their core values of excellence, unconditional love and accountability. Mercy's program is free-of-charge and lasts approximately six months. Services include individualized programs, biblically-based counseling, nutrition education, fitness instruction, life-skills training and educational opportunities. Their goal is to have each young woman not only complete the program, but also discover the purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive citizen.

Nursing Home Outreach

C3Churchis proud to support the nursing home outreach at Golden Arts Living Center. Golden Arts Living Center is a skilled nursing facility located in Lawrenceville, GA. The outreach provides bi-weekly bible studies, C3Kids music and most of all, companionship and encouragement. Each of us can make a difference in the lives of another person, no matter the difference in our age.

Quinn House

In December of 2009 we formally partnered with the Quinn House which has been located in downtown Lawrenceville, GA for the past 25 years. The Quinn House is a multi-tasking, non-profit Outreach Operation that assists hundreds of people in Gwinnett County and in other areas of the State. They have a Residential Program that offers housing for the homeless and a 40-day Drug and Alcohol Program to help individuals get back on their feet and re-enter society in a stable and productive way. This Program is free and offers the residents an opportunity to develop a new way of thinking and developing self-esteem, along with decision-making that can lead them to steady employment and independent living again. Through a variety of programs that we have run at the C3 Church Lawrenceville campus we continue to support the Quinn House throughout the year.

How You Can Help...

The Dove's Nest Thrift Store directly benefits the residents of The Quinn House and people in need in Gwinnett County. Based on their situation and need donated items are furnished to these families and individuals. Also residents who have completed the Residential Program are furnished with needed items to establish their new homes when they leave. Please call (770) 962-7782 for information and directions to bring your donations to the Dove's Nest Thrift Store. Don't forget to tell them you are from The C3 Church!

Solo Moms

C3 Solo Moms is an ongoing program designed to help women see themselves the way that God sees them, to help them grow personally and as women of God, to live a life without compromise, to see them fulfill their personal call from God, connect together, become leaders and strong women of influence. Single parent households are one of the most challenged segments in our society today. Solo moms are twice the parent and half the couple. They face financial and relationship challenges while striving to lead their families toward a positive future. The good news is that single moms can have a great life!

2009

Honduras Boxes

Our C3Kids in 2009 in order to extend our missions work beyond our own borders. School children in Honduras have the same school supply needs as any child does. This project provided hundreds of 'shoe box' sized boxes full of school supplies and small gifts to the children of Honduras. To see the delight in a child’s eye when they receive a gift such as this goes beyond comparison.

Jammies Drive

The Quinn House was founded by John and Carrol Quinn because they recognized a great need in Gwinnett County for assisting individuals and families on all levels. They began by bringing homeless families into their own home and as their outreach grew, so did The Quinn House. C3Beyond and C3Mums sponsored a "Jammies Drive" to provide warm and cuddly 'jammies' to the children of the families in need in 2009 at Christmastime.

SMART

SMART, "Solo Moms Acquiring Readiness Training" was a program designed to teach self-reliance and life skills to solo moms in our community. Single parent households are one of the most challenged segments in our society today. Solo moms are twice the parent and half the couple. They face financial and relationship challenges while striving to lead their families toward a positive future. The good news is that single moms can have a great life!

Pack to School

This annual event provides nearly 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to single parent households in need. The parents are thrilled to receive help with necessary supplies and the children are excited to get new stuff. The community outreach program is designed to help those in need whom otherwise could not afford to prepare their children for school.

Party in the Park

Party in the Park was an event that benefited Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This was a community wide event featuring a 5k race and family festival. For fun and fitness, it was an event the whole family could enjoy. This outreach program provided our community with the opportunity to bring the whole family and benefit a great cause. We raised over $10,000 for CHOA

C3Beyond was proud to support the nursing home outreach at Golden Arts Living Center. Golden Arts Living Center is a skilled nursing facility located in Lawrenceville, Ga. The C3Beyond outreach provided bi-weekly bible studies, C3Kids music and most of all, companionship and encouragement. Each of us can make a difference in the lives of another person, no matter the difference in our age.

Santa Photos

He's making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out whose naughty or nice, Santa Claus comes to C3!! The C3Beyond outreach program provided parents with an opportunity to have photos of their children with Santa -- for FREE. This outreach gave the families in our communities a fun place, away from the shopping crowds to spend with their children.

Operation Soldier Support

C3Beyond believes in extending help to those making the ultimate sacrifice, military service. By organizing groups, one of our own families was supported in meals, yard work, family events and general support while their father was away serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. Packages of 'goodies' were also sent periodically to this brave soldier to share with his fellow soldiers. We helped bring a bit of home to those stationed far away from home. In 2009 we supported the Andrew and Katie Foshee family during his deployment.

Pareesa Sarabi

In 2009, Pareesa Sarabi committed three months to perform mission work in Cuenca, Ecuador. Through your generous support, she was able to bring the C3 difference to those in South America. In cooperation with the Verbo Church, Pastor Richard Capaldi and his wife; Pareesa worked with children in the local orphanage, with families in the community and brought the C3 vision administratively to people in the church.
